I realize why I was having trouble. It seems that with beta 9.9, the line 1 from templates/yget/header.tpl is different than 9.8.1 This is the same for the templates/cznet/header.tpl.
I replaced the first section in the cznet template. it's a bit botchy still but it works for now, as I'm still hacking this together.
