Blog integration in Pligg

Hi There,

My client has asked me to see if I can integrate a blog into his existing pligg site. He has showed me a website called Simply Fired | If You Don't Laugh, You'll Cry / Popular Stories which he believes uses pligg as its cms engine.

Can anyone tell me what blog this uses or what integration options I have for Pligg?

Cheers

Oly

Hi oly

It looks like they just installed wordpress in a subfolder and created a link in Pligg to it. They also made the templates look the same as to appear integrated.

That's not exactly "integrating".

To me, integration means that a user signs up for one account to yoursite.com and is a member of everything with all features intertwinded somehow.

Of course, there isn't a whole lot to be gained by integrating Pligg and Wordpress...as least not that I can see at this point.

You are right brandondrury, the benefits of bridging pligg and wordpress are minimal.

You could also create a sidebar widget in wordpress then use an iframe with the url of mysite.com/pligg/settemplate.php?template=mobile

It will give you this
