When I think on DreamHost thats what comes to my mind:
-Cheap host that give me unlimited domains to host, unlimited mysql and unlimited bandwirth.
-Loong load times for my sites
-Guys doing absurd jokes constantly even when they have to deal something serious

Conclusion: Good for starters or people with half-empty pockets (like me, lol)

I had 3 sites hosted at DH for about a year. It was really the last couple of months where I couldn't even reach my sites for days at a time, that I chose to use another hosting company.

If it wasn't for that, I would still be with them today. They've always had good response time to my inquiries, and their referral system was excellent, and everything else is good. But the most important thing is being able to access my sites. I had to dump them. I switched everything to HostMonster, and I have not come across any problems with them.

Better than anyboyd I've used

I've been hosting with DreamHost for about 5 years and have had really good experiences. The billing issue was a pain for one day, but they took care of it.

I like their features and I had no idea that pligg existed until I was messing around in my DreamHost control panel. I love Pligg. But, again, I wouldn't know about it without them.

I wish you would reconsider your position. For all of us users that use DreamHost and Pligg, it would be nice to have support.

A lot of people credit DH for helping them discover Pligg, but in reality DH has been running outdated versions of Pligg since they introduced the feature a few months ago. Also, take a moment to look at the poll attached to this forum thread. A lot of users rate DH as poor, despite a lot of threads in favor of them.

So....

So are you saying that it's better to have no pligg than to have 9.8? I mean listen to the community!
