Is there going to be an upgrade path from 9.9.0 to 1.x/2.x? Thanks for your responses ChuckRoast.

I believe there will be an upgrade path to both 1.0 and 2.0. From what I understand, the templates will be importable as well as the data.

The good thing about open source projects is that even should the original developers decide to abandon the project...others can fork it. So, I wouldn't worry about development ceasing...Though I would encourage the developers to respond to these concerns and show more activity in the forums (I've only seen chuckroast and kbeever of late). Otherwise someone will fork the code...and that would be unfortunate if development were to continue here.

The answer was already given. Pligg development has not stopped. I am not sure why that seems so hard for everyone to understand. This thread is turning into nothing but gross speculation so I will be locking it down.
