Itīs really sad whatīs going on here:

- Someone is asking politely when there will be public access to the new repository
- Someone is asking politely whether CodeIgniter will be used in v2.0

No answer is given to both of the questions instead the thread is closed! What kind of policy is that? If you say that you donīt have the ressources to proceed in the next six months itīs ok, but this way ...

If you canīt stand the critisism, delete this post! Itīs up to you!

The reason we have not given out the new SVN location is because we were testing several different places/ formats/ etc.. Once we are confident that the new location will serve our purposes for the long term the address will be given out. Everyone still has access to the sourceforge SVN so I'm not sure what the big deal is.

Secondly it was already stated that we were experimenting with CodeIgniter for Pligg v2 but the likely hood of it being released anytime in 2008 would be slim. With a release date being so far off and the project only being in it's alpha state it would be unreasonable to say with 100% certainly that CodeIgnitor would be used.

The thread was closed due to the fact that even after answers were given, people were just making gross assumptions and the entire thread was turning into a rumor mill.

See it's rumors like these that I am talking about.. Where would you come up with this? All comments like this are just irrational and serve no purpose to anyone attached to the project.

Another thing I might mention.. Most people seem to have an illusion that 1.0 will be some sort of miracle codebase. We have already stated that the differences between Beta 9.9 and 1.0 will be minimal. It's pretty much just simple bug fixes and very few if any new features.

Simple bug fixes is the best idea for 1.0 and it's the best news I ever heard!

I think it's brilliant! why work on new stuff when you have simple bugs to fix!

great news to hear!
