Congrats Yankidank! As with any good (or bad) thing, your mileage may vary. (Ha!) I got married a little while ago and all I can say is -- IT IS FRIGGIN AWESOME! I love being married -- I hated dating with a passion.

I can sympathize with wedding plans too -- I feel your pain brother! The nightmares are returning right now as I write this! (Ha!)
