Thickbox or Greybox, Scriptalicious? What to use for videos, pictures, etc.? advice?

I have been looking through several different modules, and even have some of them part way installed, (working kind of....). But what I want to do over all is have my Pligg so that I can have Videos and/or pictures. But I really like having the Videos and pictures pop up, (with the background greyed out). Some examples are:

OIOnews / Videos / Headlines

Some of the modules I have been looking into and trying to work out are:

Cent's Thickbox module 1.0
and
Optimised Scriptaculous Module with Thickbox
and
Greybox video Addon for pligg v1.0

But as you might share the feeling, there are many different modules, (let alone versions of each one), by different people, (and I have to say they are brilliant!). I just don't know what to use for what as some of their abilities overlap or perhaps they could be configured very simply to do another job, (say both Pictures and Videos instead of just Videos). So I could use anyones advice on this as there is a lot of information and it is tough wading through. Perhaps there is a best fit solution? Maybe something that I am not even aware of.... I am wondering if I even have to install several different modules, (sometimes one is hard enough), to do a few different things. Anyways, any advice is very much appreciated. What do you guys use? What do you feel works the best? What are some + and - of choices?

Thanks for any input,

Your fellow Pligger

Brian
