Top-Web-Design template FREE for download!

Hi,

This is an early release of the Top-Web-Designs template that I promised to release. I need people to test it out and make sure it installs correctly.

After you download the file (plindoxyl.rar) and unrar it, backup your original mollio-beat template and then overwrite the existing mollio-beat template with the one provided in the plindoxyl.rar file!

Please make sure you have the latest version of Pligg installed when you try to install the template.

You can change the logo using the pliggBluePSDLogo.psd Photoshop file.

You should probably give your template a name so people don't have to overwrite their mollio template. The point of the templates folder is so people can drop drifferent templates into the folder and switch to any one they want. I'd advise you to change the "mollio-beat" folder name in your download link to be the name of your template.

Besides that, thanks for the release. I'll test it out for you.

Very nice.

In IE, I had the experiance of the story links and the rest of the story details not showing up untill mouseovered. (Also the summary not showing) Otherwise, damn nice work. Honestly I've got to say this is probably the best public template out there. Excellent work. It's great to finally see something of this quality level offered as a base for more novice sites to mod and adapt to their own.

Another thing is that you should probably change the logo so it's text instead of a picture. Not that many people are good enough with photoshop to be able to edit the logo. You will be able to get a lot more people using your template if the logo text changes when you edit it in modify language like it mollio-beat.

Ok, I fixed :

1. Summary
2. Logo (By default it is text based, if you want to use an image file, you can uncomment some lines in the CSS file. Instuctions in the CSS file)
3. changed the folder name so you don't have to overwrite mollio-beat

Looks good so far. A couple of layout errors in the admin side in IE. Specifically:

1. when trying to edit users.
2. When modifying language, when you edit a variable
3. The Admin_backup.php menu

Amazing work. I think we've got a new amazing template. Huge kudo's. This I think will be the template that'll launch 1000 templates.

Thanks for the info, I will fix (very soon) the Admin_backup.php menu and the menu error while editing the users.

I did not, however, understand what you meant by the 'When modifying language, when you edit a variable'.

Kbeever got the rest of the bugs and screenshotted them. Great work, this bad boy is almost perfect just got a few last bugs to squish.
