1) Yup, I noticed there was some other versions which handle all types of media, I was considering that as an option as well

2) Yup, I figured if they didn't want this they would guard it. Their logo is on the images, so its like advertising for them. Is this still not cool?

For now, my traffic isn't high, so I'm not worried. I'm more worried about people submitting articles with images, and changing the images once they are published. I've heard people request image upload ability with articles, If possible, I'd like to second that. Any thoughts on if this will be rolled into future versions?
