I read the read me file from the most current release of pligg 9.8.2 and I noticed it states I must have the following,

Requirements:
- PHP 4.3.0 and higher
- MySQL

I also noticed in the 9.8.0 release it stated the same requirements,


Requirements:
- PHP 4.3.0 and higher
- MySQL

In the end my questions are as follows,

#1. Why am I successfully running pligg on a database version 4.1
#2. How can I successfully upgrade to the newest release (9.8.2) without causing issues etc...
#3. Am I wrong when I say #1.? I'm so new at this I might be thinking the 4.1 is the mysql when it's really the php version.

I kinda need some clarification here before I attempt this upgrade.

Alright I have upgraded to the newest release 9.8.2 without any issues it seems how can I confirm it has worked is there somewhere I can look and see the current version I am running?

okay I think I have done something wrong because I'm getting the following error

Warning: file_get_contents(./../libs/lang.conf): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/content/b/b/r/bbrian017/html/blogengage/class.config.php on line 97
Could not open ./../libs/lang.conf


Any help at this point would be greatly appreciated


EDIT: I'm personally not too sure but I think it's this specific theme style I'm trying to install that continues to mess up the site. I'm trying to install Digital nature theme
