Where to change number of characters for "editorial"

I set the configure --> Require URL ---> False

However, when my users blog 2 or more paragraphs, readers cannot readwhat they've written as it gets cut short.

Where do I set the number of characters allowed as the current limitation does not allow adequate space for an Editorial
