Hey first off I really am "digging" the idea of a dig clone and it might be great for my website www.ptmarion.com. currently we are running on postnuke...

Now what we do, mainly we are party focused people submit parties weds through saturday and they just appear as normal news items.

Is there any type of "event" manager or anything of the sorts that would help out with posting parties and maybe rsvp's and the ability to make lists of "invited" people

So that makes this post a mod request I guess ha

umm also is there away to be able to write original content so you have ur aggregated news and the original news items that our staff writers will write

Then maybe the ability to keep articles (different than news) sepperate from the news and the aggregated news

I dont expect anyone to go out and do all that for me just provide some insight into it all.

Best way with minimal coding is to use both atm

Post the party details on postnuke and then have the links posted on a pligg.
