upgradation of old pligg version 6 to latest version 9.8.2

Hello ,


Can any one help me how to upgrade pligg version 6 to latest version 9.8.2 with exiting data.

Wow, I actually had to look up how long ago beta 6 was. The answer: February 17, 2006. That's exactly three months after Pligg started. I've never tried to upgrade through so many versions at one time, but we have designed everything so that you could eventually migrate to the latest version. If you are willing to use one of the modern templates rather than your current beta 6 version you probably won't have that many problems with the upgrade process. If I have some extra time today I will try to locate an old version and try the upgrade process out so I can give you some tips and instructions.

Cool! I didn't thought that old pligg site exist!

We did upgrade from pligg 8.x to 9.8x with our own script [one shot upgrade] but for that old sites needs more care & effort.

BTW do you have any link to take a look ? It would be great experience to see such old live site!

Thank u for your feedback.While upgrading version It'd possible to preserve old site template to new version.

If not then can u please tell me the any notes/step/link how to modify new version template to match with old template.

Sorry for posting this issue many times but still i have no ans. So plz help me.
