Hi.
I have been searching for an hour and a half now, and either I am not using the right terminology, or the posts just don't exist. I was certain that this question had to have been asked before, but I just can't find the answer. (Looked in the docs too, but to no avail.) So, if it has been answered already, I apologize in advance.
What I'm trying to do is set up a pligg install to use on a site that already exists and has been around for a long time (lots of stuff there). I want people to be able to submit pages of the site to pligg and have people use all the available wonders of pligg.
But I can not figure out how to bypass the enter url page (step 1). What I would like to do is either use the referrer to get the url, or somehow integrate it with the link that they will click to submit the page.
With digg, you see a digg link on an article somewhere, and when you click it you go to step 2 of digg's submission process. The url of the page reads something like digg.com/submit/story?=http://linktostory.com/story123. With pligg, there isn't anything like this, so it's not immediately apparent (to me) how it works.
If anyone could please give me a hand in wraping my head around this or point me in the right direction, I'd greatly appreciate it.
Much thanks, and best regards,
W.
Happy Holidays.
