Comments that are over the maximum length (currently set at the default of 75 characters i think) are not reduced in characters and with a ... added at the end.

But are just not being displayed, with just the ... (the entire comments can't be seen).

Comments under the maximum length are displayed fine.

Is there any known problems with comments that should be reduced not being displayed at all? I am using a non-English installation of Pligg, would this make a difference at all?

JUST tried to post a comment in English over the maximum characters and it is shorten correctly, so it looks like it is a problem only because comments are posted in Simplified Chinese. Any ideas on how it can be fixed?
