Using godaddy.com linux hosting, I created my msql database, but I can't find where to rename settings (step 2). GoDaddy tech support don't have a clue as to what I'm talking about and I could not find it on the forum. I am a new newbie so it may be something i've overlooked a thousand times. Please Help.

You would want to use the application that you used to upload your filed to the server. In my case, I right click ---> Rename, then follow the Pligg instructions to rename the files.

I ,also use the right click ---> Set Attributes, to set your Chmod settings.

BTW, I am using LeechFTP.

Thanks, u just made my life much easier. FYI I just opened the pligg download and dragged the db connect and settings file onto the desktop, changed the names and dragged them back in.

now I am having a problem with step 3. When I try to upload the files to server, I get the message "unable to load 1 or more file" and the next message is "software caused connection abort: socket write error". What can I do to upload>
