Question Total Votes, those with fewer still on home page

Has anyone experienced this and know of a fix?

In the admin area there's a setting there to only show stories that have X amount of votes to be shown on the home page, no matter what setting I give it, votes of 1 are still showing up on the home page. I emptied the templates cache and still no joy.

    Cheers

It's not retroactive. Meaning that if you had it set to 1 and a story got published it will remain published until you manually set it back to upcoming in the news management section.

Once again.. This is not a bug so it's being moved into the general help forum. Please follow the guidelines for posting in the bug report forum..

    Thanks

I am following the guidelines of this forum, and since there is no proper manual in how to use the pligg software, one can only assume, since I am not a programmer or a developer of this software, that it's a bug.

And there is no upcoming move to section in the admin area, care to enlighten me since there is no manual here to work from, where and how to do this please.

    Thanks.

And why do the posts automatically go to the home page when they are submitted, not one of them go to the queued section. Now, is that normal when the setting has been set to greater than 1. Tell me, that's not a bug? You may want to move this back to the bug section.

I already answered you above.. It's not a bug. A stories location on the site is determined by several things. 1st the setting in the admin x amount of votes to publish. if you have it set to 1 then all submissions will go to the published section. If you go and change it to 5 it's not going to go move all the previously published posts back to upcoming section.

As for following the guidelines.. You clearly are not. Please http://forums.pligg.com/bug-report/1...e-posting.html

    Thanks
