Some Tips

I visit some sites everyday to help block spam and slog
here is just two sites five minutes worth of work just block the urls

this poor owner don't know what hit him you can see here

you can see the moron aily143 on the sites listed above he has joined my site many times
new names ip and email he cant post on my site but he wants a link on his profile

We are fighting back we post email and IPs and send them a email and will continue to do so
I know who and what he is obviously he cant read some morons just want to see there name on the net

I have a dedicated team helping me this is now way pliggs fault as soon as any page get listed on any search engine seen on a forum or just on the net its a guarantee the retards will come

what spam or splog on my site may not be on yours my terms are clear what can and can not be posted
I even reply to some spammers seen on the links above and even digg its does not stop all of them but its does stop

some Idiots own there own hosting or reseller account when you contact them they just lol
90% don't want the name associated with spam or splog so a simple email will work

I am extremely grateful to pligg and 98% of the forums members

Sometime when we want help its our "approach" that counts

Can I blame Google gmail when I get spam ?

I agree. IMHO Pligg needs a security audit by an anti-spam security professional to determine if there is an exploitable vulnerability in a PHP file somewhere.

yes but this is just more costly to pligg.. maybe we can start up a pligg security donations fund. This could possibly help cover some of the costs? So in the end we can donate like 20 dollars each and that will help cover extra costs. This is just an idea if your suggestion was to be implemented.
