I got this error and it happens once in a while. I'm not to sure why but I just wanted to share with you!

Code:
Parse error: parse error, unexpected $ in /home/content/b/b/r/bbrian017/html/blogengage/templates_c/c_ef20b2b5fff08f636a080a9108ff9329.php on line 468
Also my site has been extremely slow lately is there any I can increase the speed of my pligg site?

I know it's not my server because I run other sites on the same server and they are loading no problem.

Any advice on the speed issue?

Clear your templates_c folder to get rid of the error. Its a cache issue.

Do you have gzip turned on?

Did you notified if it came just after changing something on template files?

I had a lot of problems with parse errors and it was because I made a mistake changing the code of a template file...

yeah I have made many changes to the template 100% no questions asked.

When you made the template change and had this error was it once in a while or constant? My error is random and can happen anytime but will not happen all the time!
