Hi guys, before I get too deep in installing Pligg, I'd like your opinion on whether Pligg could be the right tool for what I am trying to accomplish.
I am wanting to put together a website that is a community driven list of streaming audio/video media links. What I envision is that registered users can submit new stream links, report links that do not work and suggest modifications to information to links that might have incorrect information (wrong media player type, language, etc). These new additions and suggested changes would not take effect until an admin verified the information is correct.
Both registered users and nonregistered users would have access to view the links. I would also like the capability of formatting the links into a playlist format based on criteria provided by the user.
The links could have the following data associated with them (although some may not have all fields):
Stream name, stream link, language, country, audio only/audio and video, media player type
Does Pligg support what I propose to do? Is there an add on module that could make this possible? I am not afraid to program a bit if necessary. I am very familiar with PHP and MySQL, but do not want to reinvent the wheel if I can find a tool that does what I need.
Your help is greatly appreciated!
