I tried changing the user name from god to another name. I was able to change the name but when I tried to log back in, it took me to a white screen with no template and it said invalid user at the top left. There was no ajax overlay of the invalid user. I hit the back button did it again and got the samething. So I entered the original user (god) and then the ajax overlay came and said invalid user. Afterwards I entered what I changed the user name to and I was able to login. This maybe okay for me because I can troubleshoot through it. I am more worried about my users who try to login after a user name change. Is there any fix to this? or are users not able to change their user name?

Pligg doesn't allow regular users to change their username. Only the 'god' user can change a username.

Hi,

I too just installed Pligg but the version is 9.9.5. Same error - changed username "god" to "itssri" and logged in - got the message "invalid user" - but instead of refresh, I just typed out my site URL in the address bar and entered, and there I was in admin mode!

I also changed the template from Yget to Lemontwist - same error.
