Error in Reinstalling Pligg website - Blank page
I initially installed Pligg on a Windows machine with Apache,MySql and PHP 5 .After a few days I tried to transfer this installation to another machine with the same setup - ( Windows ,Apache 2.2.4,PHP 5 ).
To transfer I copied the Pligg folder to the new machine's htdocs and took a database dump restoring the dump to a schema with the same name as before.I change the dbconnect.php and settings.php to reflect the new DB password and the URL.I also changed the database entries for Location Installed in the Pligg_config table to the new url.
When I type in the new URL I receive a blank page.I checked the Apache Logs and there is no entry. Is this the right method to transfer the Pligg contents? If not where have I erred? and what can be done to resolve this error?.Thanks in advance for any help.

It sounds like you took all of the appropriate steps in transferring your site. As long as the database and settings.php reflect where it should be installed you should be okay. I'm able to change subdirectories I have pligg installed on by just editing the settings.php file. Are you sure that your new host is able to generate php pages correctly and such, because you should at least see something when you try to visit Pligg, not just a blank page.

New Pligger
If i install a fresh copy of Pligg on the new host it installs and works perfectly so i think there is no problem with the PHP page generation. Is there any settings change within php.ini to be applied for Pligg?
