    Volunteer to Translate

As mentioned in the call for testers and translators blog post, we have added a new url for Pligg translators to apply to translate Pligg. We are hoping to get some translations of Pligg made for the next release and need translators to volunteer to translate 2 files. We are waiting until September 20th to have translators begin because by then we should have most new features and finished and the language files will be ready to be translated.

If you are interested in becoming a translator you have to be fluent in both English and the language you are translating it to. To apply, click on the giant link below.

You will need enough of an understanding of English and the language you are translating it to so that you can accurately translate the majority of items. We are willing to accept those who are fluent in the translation language who have an advanced knowledge of English, but it's important that they communicate to us their understanding when applying. We will work with translators if they have any questions about certain items so that we can get the most accurate translations possible.

Just an update that we have had 12 people volunteer to translate Pligg so far. A few of those were people wanting to translate the same language, which is great because we need people to work together and check each other's work for any errors.

We have also set a schedule that we will be trying to stick to for beta testers and translators and it looks like we will need you guys to begin working in about 20 days. More scheduling info will follow on the Pligg Blog soon.

    Keep sending in those applications!
