I am looking to see if Pligg will integrate with Joomla. I am sure someone must have written a bridge for this. The Spanish site is definitely Joomla. How did you tell it was Pligg being used? Intouch

This pligg designer state on their website they have worked with Joomla... Pligg Templates / Pligg Modules / Moonrank - Born to Enrich Pligg - If you contact them, let me know how you go. There is a joomla extension for this at Joomla! Extensions Directory , but for the life of me, I can't find it with the limited time I have. Intouch

Integrating Pligg with Joomla would be huge. This, to my knowledge, has yet to be done. I don't even think there is a bridge from one to the other. What you'll probably have to do with the least amount of effort, is hide the login module for joomla, and have pligg in joomla's wrapper component. Otherwise, you'll have to have your members register for both joomla and for pligg. You could also go with disabling membership to pligg and allowing all anonymous voting and comments. All of these options would be eliminated if integration was possible, but it's the only option you have, unless you're willing to dish out money for some customization.

here is a reponse.. -------------------------------------------------------- Tutorials Component for Joomla!. This is a Communication Joomla Component. User can submit on this Component him/her item or news or article or tutorial etc, also there user can post comment on this submitted item. Also user can add +fav on fav list. Now that support AJAX, PHP, My SQL, Joomla 1.0.X. Tutorials Component As like digg.com. Joomla! Extensions Directory - Tutorials Component --------------------------------------------------------- users can vote and submit but they don't show how to promote as pligg does

Tutorials Component is not really good, because the release is incomplete... The user doesn't have the possibility to see his favourites and there isn't the possibility to see them in the Community Builder profile We are waiting for that. Surfing on the web i've found this interesting web2.0 site made by INTEGRATION OF JOOMLA , PLIGG and WORDPRESS. Have a look Home*-*Conferenza Stampa 2.0 Is a website made by 2 italian guys and is really interesting, now they are finishing to translate pligg and lounch the site, but you can see it online. There is also a web2.0 video directory really cool!!
