Hi guys, I've finally managed to install latest Pligg version. However, when i go to my domain, it still comes up with my URL and then admin/etc etc etc after it.

I think I have to enter something in the configuration boxes under:

BASE URL

and

Pligg Base Folder

Does anyone know what a Pligg base folder is, and what I must enter in that box?

Also, will this solve the problem of my domain coming up with /admin etc after it?

Many thanks,

the default pligg base folder is: pligg/

the Base URL is your domain name, for example: http://www.yourdomain.com

Hi there, thanks for getting back to me.

I've entered /pligg in the Pligg Base Folder, and when I went back to the home page it goes all white and displays like this: http://aycu13.webshots.com/image/450...8003500_rs.jpg and the url displays: http://www.rollonsaturday.com/Pligg_Beta_9.9.0/ instead of just rollonsaturday.com - Cheap Domain Name Registration and Transfers, SSL certificates, whoisguard privacy protection and free domain parking

Please help me out on what to do,

Many thanks,

I've entered /pligg in the Pligg Base Folder...
Make sure you enter pligg/ and not /pligg. Also, if you renamed the folder during the installation, it will no longer be named pligg/. If you FTP into your website, what is the name of your pligg folder?

Did you follow all of the pligg installation procedures? Make sure you've changed the permissions on the proper files/directories.

Hi there, the folder name is Pligg_Beta_9.9.0

Changed all permissions etc, and I just can;t get my site to display the URL correctly.

I've been doing this 3 days now

Try renaming your folder to pligg. Having the periods might be messing things up.

P.S, What would I enter in the pligg base folder after I try again? Just 'pligg' ?

Thanks,
