Hello everyone,

I am a experienced IPB Developer and was asked to create a Pligg Integration Module integrating Pligg and IPB. It allows all the users on your IPB Installation to use the Pligg System with their IPB Login thus centralizing both systems whilst using the secure member login authentication of IPB

Now I was asked to create a module which does the above and the client insisted that I resell it so that it helps the whole Pligg Community. Now I thought about it becuase usually I do not resell my coded work but the client explained that I would be helping the whole Pligg Community and therefore convinced me to offer it to the Pligg Users.

Now before I setup everything (Paypal, Screencasts etc.) I was wondering how many people would be interested in a module like this one. I have set a base price of £40 (Around $80 USD)(This is much cheaper than hiring a IPB Developer who will charge between $100+) and this will include full support and installation. This module is coded from scratch by myself. For more information then please PM me. I also do other IPB Modifications

Some questions are answered below. Scroll down

Thanks
- Suhail

No Takers?. Leaving a message won't mean I will hassle you in wanting. It's just a token to show that people are interested in the module.

I am definitely interested in this...

I think the silence here may have to do with many previous claims of integration being made with no delivery. My main concern would also lie with what happens when an IPB and/or Pligg update rolls around... How many core files would be modified of either software that require additional updates?

I will see if I can get a screencast or demo working somewhere.
Also about the updates, None of the IPB Files are changed in any way. The only files changed in Pligg are /libs/login.php which is rewritten from scratch by myself. It also uses the IPB SDK to authorise the log in.
Also if purchased then support will be provided by myself. I am available on MSN and GTalk

All, I was inquiring about this before from other people on this board and am the one who requested this from iMMENSE. You can see I have been around here a while. While I have asked iMMENSE to not allow my site to be viewed as a demo (as it is not complete, and I really don't want people to see it until then), I can assure you that the login feature works.

I'll be interested in this in the fall for my next site, I was hoping too Pligg bridge a free version of forum software though. Too many irons in the fire right now to really think about it right now.

Thanks

This works with 2.0 (Not fully tested but 99% sure it should), 2.1, 2.2 and 2.3
It allows you to login from Pligg and IPB sides and share the same cookie so you don't have to login twice .
