I might have missed this, I looked around and didn't find a post relating to this problem. Sorry if it's already here...anyway....

...so I'm logged in as "god", just finished a fresh install and I go to change my password. So I click on 'profile' and then in 'modify'. Enter my old password, enter new password - confirm new password and receive error message: "There was a token error". Now...I checked...and double checked that the permissions were set as detailed in the readme. Are there more files needing 777?

I get the same error when trying to change details for other users too. So I created a new user with godlike powers and that user can't change it's own password either.

I'm sure the answer is glaringly obvious and will make me look like an idiot. Please help!

It's a problem with one of your templates not being updated to the latest version. I forget which template file it is off the top of my head, but I think it's either user_center.tpl or profile_center.tpl. Make sure you are using the latest version available for your template.

This is a fresh install - so I can't download newer versions of those files since I'm using the latest already. However...I changed the permissions of those files to 666 and now it seems to be working! STRANGE - I changed the CHMOD using filezilla of the 'templates' directory but that didn't seem to have a cascade effect like I was expecting. Do all the files in this directory need to be 666/777? Thanks!

sorry...scratch that. I clicked the wrong box...changing the permissions didn't work. So where do I get a current version of those files you mentioned (since I haven't installed any templates)?
