Having an issue with the included plug with ver 9.9. I am testing the anti spam features for pligg still deciding if I am going to use this CMS for 2 sites I am producing. Ofcourse I have found many references to the issue with spam and pligg. To bad we cant sue these guys for all the ruined sites out there because of spam...

Anywho the issue I am having is with akismet plug. When I go under

Home » Akismet

In the admin section there are sites listed there but if I mark them as spam or not spam nothing happens the sites still show up in there with no apperent change. I am not sure what is sapposed to happen as it is not happening I dont think.

here is how the html is output in the page source

***************
<a href="/module.php?module=akismet">Return to the Akismet Management page</a><hr />
<a href = "/module.php?module=akismet&view=isSpam&link_id=17"> Yes, this is spam</a><br />
<a href = "/module.php?module=akismet&view=isNotSpam&link_id=1 7">No, this is NOT spam</a><br /><br />
***************

I know a enough php to be dangerous so I am hoping to find out what I need to do to get this pluggin to work? Before I start going through the code. I search the forums and didnt see anyone else with this issue so I am hestinent to go through the code as it seems to be working for most people...

A little help would be great...

it changes the status from queued to published or discarded it just changes the status... it would help if we could sort the listed sites by status...

Like you, My Akismet spam page lets me change the status, but leaves them in the list. Is there a way to remove them from that page, even if it doesn't remove them from the database? I'm just afraid of seeing potentially a list hundreds of stories long.

The akismet module was new to the Pligg 9 series.
It was made by a 3rd party developer.
It was widely known that it lacked in features.
This has already been explained in the forums. But the forums are deep with posts. It's understandable that you might have missed it.
We've done our best to update it for the next release, which we hope you will be happy with.
