    Admin white site

    Hello,

    so I install pligg 1.0.0(480)RC3.
Setup was without errors, I login and push the admin-button and nothing, I see only a white site.

    http://www.url.de/admin/index.php give me "Wrong Referrer"

    mySQL 5.0.22 and php 5.2.x
    Debian_0ubuntu6.06.10

pligg 9.9.5 works on the same server without any problem.

    thx

White site is different from the "Wrong Referrer" message.
Wrong Reffer is a message you will see if you try to navigate to a page that checks to make sure that the user was navigating to the page from your site, and not from another site or manually entered into the address bar of your browser. We added this to greatly reduce the chances of an XSRF hack that someone might try to exploit.

The solution is to navigate to your admin pages and the submit page using a link found on your site. By default templates should be embedding a link to the admin panel into your site. You should be using that link to get the admin panel instead of directly entering the address into the address bar.

Hmm I have just installed RC3 , 2 times actually just in case...

I am getting the same error, when I login first time as god and try to access the admin panel.
    That is :

    Wrong Referrer

I try to access form tha admin button as you suggested, but I get page not found
    my browser address bar shows,
    http://www.xxxx.xx/xxxx.xx/admin/index.php

I know it should be http://www.xxxx.xx/admin/index.php but when I do this manually it will not change.

Anyway dont know what I am doing wrong:s

    Any help greatly appreciated..

    Cheers...

Go to yoursite.com and login. Click on Admin.
    Do you get any errors?

No I do not get any errors when I log in.
But when I press the admin button to access admin panel, I get

The page you were looking for doesn't exist!

It may have been removed or you may have arrived here by using a bad URL

    * Try searching for the article you are looking for.
    * Visit the homepage to see the most recent stories.
    * Browse categories and tags to find a related story.

Also when I hover on admin button I see the following link http://www.xxxxxx.xx/admin/index.php
but when I press it redirects me to http://www.xxxxxxx.xx/xxxxx.xx/admin/index.php

Note that I am using cpanel, running one domain with rc2 and now on a new domain rc3(not succeffuly though )

I suspect it has to do with the way I extract the files on the server...If you notice you have created a folder within another when extracted !

I have also tried different combinations, to move the files in root directory or keep then in another folder, no luck.

So probably has nothing to do with the path I installed it !

Open settings.php and make sure it looks like this:
    Code:
    $my_base_url = 'http://www.MYSITE.com';
    $my_pligg_base = '/MYSUBFOLDER'
    ;
