[Video Plus 0.2] : Video is not embedded into a page?

Hello there!

I am very new to Pligg. I installed the video embedding module, however looks like it doesn't work. For instance, when a

<youtube>video_id_here</youtube>

is embedded into the "description" section in the "submit article" page - the resulting document contains the ID of video - not a media object.

I searched through the available forums - and found there are nothing similar was posted earlier.

Currently the following modules are installed and active:

• Video Plus 0.2
• Basic Box 0.2
• Blocker 0.2
• Extended Profile Module 0
• Profile Extra Fields 0.2
• Send Welcome Email 0.2
• upload 0.1
• Simple Private Messaging 0.2
• Hello World 0.2
• Admin Help English 0.2
• Multibox Admin 0.1
• Captcha 0.1

Can somebody please help?

The video module for Pligg 1.0 doesn't need you to enter tags anymore like <youtube>
Just submit the link to the video and it will do the rest.

Is it available for free? I checked the list of available free modules, and didn't find anything like you described?

Yes it's free and from your list above it looks like you already have it installed.

Well, if you meant Video Plus 0.2 - it doesn't work even in case if I try to post the URL like http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GQb_4yQSeKg

1. Install video plus module in ur pligg site

2. submit the any youtube link

3. video does not show in Main home page

4. when you go the story page then click play video, video will play in basicbox

There is no "play video" on the story page. Either I don't understand things correctly, or something is really wrong with my Pligg installation.

Not working... same here i installed it and when i include a link in story then submit nothing happens maybe is because of
WYSIWYG

Shouldn't be related to WYSIWYG. It isn't actually inserting content into your post, but rather finding a thumbnail if the posted url is from a supported site. Make sure that you have the latest version of the Video Plus module and a template designed for Pligg 1.0 RC4.
