Translation going wrong (utf-8)

I was using 9.9.5 without any problems. Today I try 1.0 RC4 and i got this problem with translating stuff.

I got no problems with links or story content. There is all ok. But when i try to change language file i got strange problem. When i try to use Polish special characters they crash after refreshing page. I can type "Przeglądaj" but next time its always changed to "Przegl%u0105daj". Sometimes after many times its also as strange square shown at this image:

I use utf-8 at 9.9.5 and there is no problem with it. But here with new 1.0 we got this "special feature".

Is it possible that new files have wrong EOL mark or something? Is this can be the bug?

I will publish Polish translation for Pligg if only someone help me to work with it ;-)

I installed latest one. Installation complete. After this i cant use "Modify Lnaguage" at all. There is error:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare detect_encoding() in /class.config.php on line 172

I dont have any idea why. This line is empty ;-)

But now is the funny part. I open my PSPad and edit file directly (lang_english.conf). Its working now. Polish special letters can be used. But we cant edit them in admin panel. I dont know is this SVN dont have any other bugs now. There is situation that i want to use 9.9.5 back again. New RC's have just too many strange issues. I wanted to use it only because new theme (by CMSTheme) for 1.0...

So was this a completely new installation from the latest SVN version or did you upgrade the files? If its an upgrade chances are that you didn't update all of the files, if its an install problem we will need to figure out whats causing it.

I got every new test on self-installation. Always. Im maniac in this trust me ;-P Always new database and new folder with new files. Always checking chmod and read me instructions. This error is fresh after installation.

I have poor coding skills but i got very good hosting provider. Only modification is adding "tmp" folder (related to my server settings) and one "/" into config.php here:

include_once '/settings.php';

This two changes are to avoid errors that Pligg installation script do when I install Pligg in domain redirected to diferent catalogs on my hosting. III got some 20 domains and few working websites. I cant install Pligg in main directory ;-P You have the error. You can do it. I dont know anything more. If needed i can run dedicated machine for you with same configuration and full access to all logs.
