I'm new to the pligg system and this is my first thread.

When a user fills in the email field with "forgotten password",
I want to send the password and user name to the email instead of sending confirmation code for the password request.

After looking in the login.php script I found processlogin=3 for the "change password request" and the email body text code "$body = $main_smarty->get_config_vars("PLIGG_PassEmail_Body") . $my_base_url . $my_pligg_base . '/login.php?processlogin=4&username=' . $username . '&confirmationcode=' . $saltedlogin;"

Do I need to make changes in the "get_config_vars("PLIGG_PassEmail_Body")" and if so, where can I edit the body text for the email?

I hope somebody can help me out with this.

Thanks in advanced,
momanity

There is a reason it's done this way.. Otherwise anyone could just enter in anyone else's user name and retrieve their password. This way if someone uses someone else's username, only the person that registered it will receive the change request mailing.. If they don't confirm, it can't be changed.

Thanks for the quick responce.

My final question is: How can I edit the email body text for the confirmation email?

The confirmation email contains now the following: "Your password change request confirmation code is: <website url with confirmation code>". Is it possible to add more text in the email??
