Can't add any module

Hi alle,

I have some problems to install my new pligg website.
After lots of problems, i decided to delete all, and reinstall it, for the second time.

This time, all works fine (access to the admin panel, ....) but i have just seen that I can't install any module.
In fact, i can install them, but it doesn't change anything !!!

I tried with upload module, TinyMCE, video_plus, .... and every time, i can install them, but nothing change on the website (they are marked as installed, and enables).


Do you have any idea ???

How are you testing if they are working? Video Plus should add a thumbnail to any youtube.com url submitted in submit step 1.

Yes ! And when i submit articles, there is nothing (this one was working before the reinstall).
TinyMCE don't show the WYSIWYG buttons on the submitting page... and there is no uploading options (browse, ...) on the same page.

I install them, enable them, and nothing happen :s

No one will be able to help you with the information you've provided.

We can't fix "a lot of problems" unless to you tell us what they are.

What do you mean by that?

If you want help you have to provide a description.

Without any error message. We can only assume this is a user problem. You might want to go through the wiki and learn how pligg works before aimlessly complaining.

Thanks for your answer and your help.

Well, i don't have to say really more... all is in the messages already posted.
I installed modules, but nothing happened after on the website (submitting page for examples...).

I have no error message, all looks like it works fine... but not. For example, i installed UPLOAD, allwas OK, but i don't have the new fields on the submitting page (Browse, ...).
Same problem with other modules.

That is probably a user problem... but impossible to know which one. All worked well on the previous versions (9.9) and on the first try of installing the RC4... but this time not.

I know a little bit pligg... no nead to go to wiki i think. I am not a developer unfortunately, and can't analyse problems like cache, CHMODD, or edit php files... that's why i'm sending this post.

Please set up a temporary test username and password and post it here.

disable all modules and enable one by one to check which one got problem and don't forget to clear all cache

I tried to disable all modules, and activate them one by one... looking for the changes, and it doesn't work anymore.
At this time, they are all OFF (vidéo, tinymec, jquery, ...), there is only the UPLOAD module activated.

AS you can see... you can't upload an image (there is no field).

If you have any idea... i am really afraid that there is a stupid issue (that will put the shame on me for a year), but really can't find !
If you need an admin account, i can MP you.

Ohhh my god !!!

When i said that the answer might be stupid...

There is a problem concerning the module status when installing. It is mark as enabled, but it is not.
I have to clic "disable", and then, "enable" again, to see it live.
Quite strange... wasn't working on that way before... but doesn't matter.

Edit : I thought that it was that, but not.
I tried to submit a new story... and the WYSIWIG buttons desapeared... the module is not working anymore :s
Tried to disable it, and enable it again... not working.

i really can't understant what's happing.

(Working on a PC, XP Pro, using FileZila, and Google Chrome for informations...)
