I've moved all the settings in the config.php file into the admin panel. Please, if you have some time and wish to beta test, download this version and test the new admin panel.

Edit: 176 + 180 + 185 had some bugs. Try 189 instead.
PliggNightly-189.zip

The install instructions change just a little.
Follow the normal instructions except...
You don't edit the config.php or config2.php.
Set permissions on config.php to 655 (not writeable).
Set permissions on config2.php to 755 (writeable).

How To Upgrade

Make a backup copy of your config.php file.
Replace config.php with the new file.
Upload rename config2.php.default to config2.php and upload it.
Set permissions on config.php to 655 (not writeable).
Set permissions on config2.php to 755 (writeable).
Run /install/upgrade.php
Login to pligg, go into the admin panel, and set pligg to your liking.

Note:

There is currently no way to import an existing config.php file.
Any manual changes to config2.php will be overwritten the next time you use the admin panel, so use
it to make your changes instead of manually.

Here you go. You can do whatever you want to the site. It's a free host. The username is the default login after installing pligg. username: god password: 12345

UPDATE: The site has been crashing all day so if it doesn't work then come back a little later. Hopefully I can get another site up soon

Ash made this new config.php file to fix the installation problems. Just replace the one in build 185 with this one. It's attached to this message.

hey! Great update, but for some strange reason, I cannot edit anything in the admin panel under configure pligg - its just all text, how can I do this without changing the config2.php ..

Also just a heads up, when u click on "Email to a friend", or was it tell a friend... anyways, that does not load at all even though it says it is...

Also, one major other problem.... I can't vote, logged in or not .. its broken.. I tried doing a fresh install too - in IE I get a debug error in Firefox it doesn't do nothing.. thanks Ash and everyone.

Did you try clicking on the things you want to edit? I think when you hover over something you can edit it turns yellow.

yeah right it turns yellow? Nothing at all happens for me its just all text... any ideas why the voting wont work? Perhaps yet another install? Also, Ash you might want to include that extra code in the install/creattable.php cuz some tables didn't work for me the first install such as .links but that problem has been resolved for me .... I just don't understand why configuration and voting doesn't work.... also, does 'tell a friend' load for anyone else? thanks!
