.htaccess creation

Hello,

i tried to use the URL method, mode 2 to have nice urls,

The link are using this kind of url : /story/(story title)/ but the links don't work.

After checking the root folder, i saw that there were no .htaccess. How can i generate the .htacess to make the link works ?

You should have a file called htaccess.conf i belive
just rename it to .htaccess

It's htacces.default. Try removing the .default from it and see if it helps you. It doesn't work for a lot of people, though.

in windows i dont believe you you can start files with .

sure you can, it's just that the explorer don't like it, do it in command line or in windows commander
