Hello everybody...
I recently turned on URL Method 2 and renamed the .htaccess file and all my pages on my site have been converted to friendly URLS. All except my stories. When I click on the story titles I get the site's 404 custom errors pages not the server 404 pages. They look like this:

Pretty sure it's a website bug? Please let us know and we'll try to get it fixed.

Can anybody tell me why this happens? I've searched the forum and this seems to happen to a few people and it's never been resolved. This error is only restricted to my story pages and all other links including categories work.

Did you add the code that is generated in the category manager to the .htaccess file as instructed?

its pretty simple

goto : Home › Admin › Configure > Seo

under URL method

change the value to 2

thats it
