The latest SVN version includes a new setup for the Pligg Admin Panel. From now on the admin panel template will remain in it's own folder under /templates/admin. This should make designing templates slightly easier for template authors because they won't have to support the admin panel like they previously did in 9.9.5 and below. This will also make things a little easier for module developers because they will only have to design the module template to fit in one template rather than all potential templates.

Please note that moving the template to it's own folder required us to change the code for a few modules so that they use the new directory. If a module has a settings page that is worked into a template it needs to be updated to hook into the new admin panel. We should have the included modules all covered by the next release.

I was thinking about this the other day, and it seems like a nice step forward in my opinion

This project will be pretty easy for a programmer that knows what they're doing and has some pre-existing projects that they can work into this script. 1) website should clonedigg.com in design and function. When bookmarking a site user must be able to upload snapshot of site like on startaid.com 2) A social bookmarking platform. This should be similar to digg and allow them to add tags, description and url to their favorite sites as well as share them. They should have a page that displays all of their links and allows them to add, edit and delete them. Unlike digg.com, I don't need categories like podcasts, news, videos or images. It is just used to bookmark
and rate websites. 4) Simple user to use messaging.
