I installed 9.9.5 a while back and have previously been able to access the control panel. Now I am unable to access my admin panel and I don't know why. I have forgotten or something's broken or who knows. I'm able to login to my admin account but I do not see how to get to the admin panel. All I get is spam spam and more spam. I need to delete all the spam; especially the pornography, but I can't get to my admin panel.

Please assume I'm an idiot.

I'm logged in at level 'admin' but was seeing "Access denied." when I entered that URL. However, that made me remember that I have a 'god' level account. Once I logged in as god I could access my admin panel and I guess everything is ok now. Thanks for the help!

When does the admin area appear? I have access as a general user, but not the admin area - Login | My Site. The "god" username and "12345" pwd does not work from either the main login page or the /admin login page.

* URL to your site - My Site - Your Source for Social News and Networking
* Pligg Version 1.0.4
* Pligg Template - Wistle
* Are you using any Pligg modules not installed by default? - No
* Operating System (ex. Windows Vista) - XP
* Browser Version (ex. Firefox 3.0.6) - 3.5.9
* Server PHP and MySQL versions - PHP 4 - MySQL 5.0.45
* Is Pligg installed on a subdomain? (ex. subdomain.domain.com) - NO
* Is Pligg installed on a subdirectory? (ex. domain.com/subdirectory) - Yes My Site - Your Source for Social News and Networking
* Are you using URLmethod2 or a .htaccess file? - .htaccess - I already added the subdirectory and placed the extra ## in the file.

I read something about setting up added permissions on the actual database user that I setup for the system. I used a Plesk control panel to setup the db.

Thank you for your assistance, we're excited to give this a try.
