verification image on registrtion wont show up?

how can i fix this? when someone tries to register on my site and all are filled up username, email, password and then after clicking on submit the verification image won't show up, how can i fix that?

i'll advise my webhosting provider to install gd library, do i still need this:
mysql41orabove.sql
mysqlbelow41.sql
those 2 files? can i just delete it? it might pose some security risks.

ok done with gd and deleted those 2 files, im ready to announce it here. thanks. btw, whats the rule here on forum sig? how many lines allowed?

I dunno where the sig rules are located but on other thread I can remember Ash once stating a max of three external links allowed per sig. I think there is no restriction on the number of lines - but make sure you do not exceed more than 4 lines - it will make the threads look bad.
