submission through Bookmarklet error

I am using Pligg Version 1.0.0

and I did this : Firefox: Drag the link below to your Bookmarks Toolbar

but only one time worked with me then whenever I try it shows me something like that

Wrong Referrer 'http://forums.pligg.com/wiki-articles/17531-wrong-referrer.html'

I install it again but still same problem

I am using FF 3,5,1

also I tried it on Opera but still same thing

I have the same problem, in RC4 I asked and didn't get a good answer. Something about a security issue. Now in 1.0 it is still there. So is there a problem with the bookmarklet, or is it on our end?

That's our recommendation, removing the check_referrer(); function from submit.php. Although this does slightly lessen the security of your site, it will allow for quick submission links (bookmarklet).

Hello to everyone from (impressed) new user!

I'm also struggling with bookmarklet submission. I'm running Pligg 1.0.0 and silverbullet template.

I followed your recommendation Yankidank and removed check_referrer() function from submit.php; Validate URL is set on 'true'.

Weird thing is that submission works fine when I'm not logged in - I get redirected to login page, and after I log in everything works ok.

But when I'm logged in and use Bookmarklet (From Firefox) I get "URL is invalid or blocked" error, with URL in strange format: http%3A//www.domain.com

Anyone had similar experience maybe?

Btw, the same happens when I set 'Validate URL' to 'false'.

Solved.

Problem was in base url settings - I changed it to include www and it's ok now.
