Hi,

I have a few questions regarding to the story url :

1. I'd like to make a link for story's title to link to its original resource, how could I do it ?

Refer to http://forums.pligg.com/general-help...inal-site.html , I have set the value for " Use story title as link " to true but the link on story's title is still linked to my own domain as http : // www. mydomain .com /pligg /out /story-title but when click on it it does open the original resource page in new window.

How could I make the story's title link to http : // www. resource .com / story - page ?

2. What is /out/ on the link ? I set " Open story title in new window " value to true. Is it the case ?

Did you find a cure for this issue...as I'm looking to change this as well with no luck so far...

You could use {$enc_url} as the link instead of {$url} in link_summary.tpl

OK added the token you suggested and I'm getting closer to my goal....the only issue now is it still has the root domain as part of the URL like this:

http://www.root-domain.com/http://ww...rce-domain.com

any ideas on how I can pull the root domain from the URL's

is there a list of tokens somewhere?

I edited Line 95 in link_summary.tpl to this:


(<a href="{$enc_url}" {if $open_in_new_window eq true} target="_blank"{/if} >{$url_short}</a>)



but it just gives mt the URL posed above...


Is there a URL token other than this {$enc_url} that will not add the root domain to the URL?

Or is there a list of Pligg Tokens with descriptions I could get my hands on?

I'm not sure what you're trying to do. If all you want to do is change the title link for each article so they point to the external url instead of the pligg story url you can edit that in the Pligg configuration page in the admin panel.
/admin_config.php?page=Story

I believe your answer is to go to:
Pligg Admin > Configure > Outgoing
Set the first value to false.
