For some strange reason I am no longer able to login to my various accounts. Also I tried to use the email password feature and it doesn't seem to work either. I already tried to upload another login page but that didn't help either, any suggestions?

Well, have you tried registering a new user? Does it give you any error messages when you try to log in (ie. incorrect password)? Could any changes you may have made caused this? We need some details about the issue in order to offer any suggestions. soLinkable - I know you're going to visit my site. |

I have tried to do a new registration and it appears that nothing happens. I have tried to do a password retrieval and no emails are sent. There have been no recent changes to explain this. We did change templates a while back but the site worked fine for days afterward. I receive no error messages at all as it simply goes back to the login page. I even tried to login using different browsers on different machines and IP addresses and again nothing happens. I am not sure why this is happening. Any suggestions on how I can login to the admin and try it out using a different template like yGet to see if it is the template causing the issue? |

Try using the default yget template and see if it makes any difference. Type the line below into the end of your Pligg install directory and it will set the template to yget for you temporarily using cookies. /settemplate.php?template=yget If you need to reset the "god" user password for some reason you can open up Phpmyadmin, click on pligg_users and edit the god user's password. Change the value to 1e41c3f5a260b83dd316809b221f581cdbba8c1489e6d5896 to reset the password to the default value of 12345. The Twitter Module for Pligg CMS! Hello Yankidank Thanks for your suggestions but neither worked. I tried to use the template override in firefox and IE7 but neither did anything other than to take me to the the change template page but that was it. Even after I tried clicking on the yGet link still nothing happened. I then went into the DB and changed the value to reset the default password and still can not login. Wen I try it just opens the login page once again, any other suggestions? |

Chuckroast informed me that settemplate.php is broken in 9.9.5 then later fixed in our latest svn version, so that method must not work. You can rename the template directory that you are currently seeing to something else and it should try to default to yget I believe The Twitter Module for Pligg CMS! The template I am using won't allow for that kind of trick but I was hopeful.

It turns out that it may be an issue caused by the server and if proves to be the case I will return and state it so you can close this thread.
