It worked thanks...

but now when I click home I get the following message:

Oops, what you're looking for isn't here!

Try searching for the story you're looking for.
Go to the homepage to see the most recent stories.
Browse the topics to find the story.

Pretty sure it's a website bug? Please let us know and we'll try to get it fixed.

Do you want me to try other suggestion solution you mentioned? I guess I will wait for your response to this.

Thanks

Arka

Hi Chuck,

i got the following error after trying your second suggested solution: (Note: In Admin => Configeration I changed it back to the original setting to http://www.yukty.com

'Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '-', expecting '}' in /mnt/local/home/yukty/yukty.com/modules/akismet/libs/akismet.class.php on line 141

Issue is still not resolved. Let me know if you know what the solution is.

Arka

There is definitely an issue with Akismet.

No comments are allowed on my upgrade to 9.9.5. Also all submitted stories are automatically discarded. I know this is an issue with Akismet because if I disable the module things work perfectly.

I do not get an error after submission of comments, it just returns to the story page and doesn't submit the comment.

I have 303 supposed spam stories, but when I click to review them I get this error:
<quote>Warning: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '4828,4874,4884,4914,4915,,4984,,5089,5141,5144,,5 147,5181,,,,5216,,5237,,5248,,,' at line 1 in /home/ericlin1/public_html/ssp/libs/db.php on line 233</quote>

I assume I created an issue by deleting the stories rather than going through Akismet, but am not certain.

I have posted for help previously, but have not had any response.

I king of like stories being automatically discarded because I completely control the spam, but allowing people to comment would be nice.
