Hi Everyone,

I am thinking of following the tutorial for Single Step Registration/Email Verification (ver 0.3)

Do you think I should go ahead and make the changes now or wait for the next version of Pligg?

From reading the threads I got the feeling the version 0.3 is not complete and has issues.

Has anyone else fully implemented this feature in Pligg 9.9.5?

I am basically trying to stop the SPAM

If you are interested in email verification, you may want to look into upgrading to the SVN code rather than trying to install that module. I believe it was for a much older version of pligg.

You could also do what I did: I used winmerge to just grab the email verification code in the SVN and then hardcoded it into my site. It may take a little work, but at least you won't have to deal with old modules.

hey can u post the code? and where to update them on Pligg? I think would help a lot of ppl! who r trying to combat spam.

It will be in next version and have to wait till it release
