how to move the sidebar comments out of the sidebar?
i am making a new template and want to move the sidebar comments to other places.
when i using the code {checkActionsTpl location="tpl_pligg_sidebar_comments"} ,it displays this:
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare shortentext() (previously declared in D:\AppServ\www\Pligg\cache\templates_c\c_79a770978 60da78c1199f5745f906185.php:49) in D:\AppServ\www\Pligg\cache\templates_c\c_79a770978 60da78c1199f5745f906185.php on line 58
It works well in the side bar.
,so ,what's the problem?
thx a lot!!

What exactly are you doing? Did you copy the code or remove it from the sidebar and add it to another area like the footer? Have you cleared your template cache? Have you tried disabling modules to see if the error goes away?

sorry ,my english sucks...
emm, yes, i add the code
{checkActionsTpl location="tpl_pligg_sidebar_comments"}
to another aera, but it didn't work.
i have cleared the cache, doesn't work.
disabled the Sidebar Comments, the error message really disapeared, but, when i enabled it, the error message came again!
Maybe i should make a question like this:
1, Can "Sidebar Comments" module be used in other area?
2, Is there another way to display the comments list?

Moving that module hook to footer.tpl worked fine for me. What .tpl file are you moving it into? Also, what template are you using?

I moved it to a new div in pligg.tpl.
This two
{checkActionsTpl location="tpl_pligg_sidebar_stories"}
{checkActionsTpl location="tpl_pligg_sidebar_stories_u"}
works well.
But the comments not.
And, i am using wistie.
