Can someone please help me? I changed my user name, and when I did this, I accidentally changed my level from 'god' to 'admin.' Now I can't manage my site. Then, I changed my email address and now my 'admin' status is gone too.
Thank you.

You'll need to login to phpmyadmin and manually edit your mysql database. It really isnt that hard, basically you just login to phpmyadmin and select the user table. From there you can select the username that you want to change permissions for and change the level to god. I'll try to write out a more detailed plan with some images to assist you when I get to a computer with the appropriate tools.

Thanks for your help. I don't know how to do this stuff, someone else set up the site for me and I screwed it up.

OK. Here's my quick tutorial for chaning user levels and passwords from within mysql. I assume that you know how to login to phpmyadmin. If not, please contact your host for instructions on how to do that. Check the attached image for the tutorial. It's really basic and poorly constructed, but from the computer I'm at it's the best I can do. Sorry for the filesize too, I blame that also on the computer.

Change password to 12345 by editing user_pass field to:
1e41c3f5a260b83dd316809b221f581cdbba8c1489e6d5896

By altering the password in phpmyadmin to the above code you will be changing a users password to 12345, remember to log in and change the password from your Pligg install so something more original.
