There are no attachments in the thread anymore, the files got moved here.

The template change posted above would be for the login.tpl template in the sidebar_modules folder of digitalnature (assuming you are using that theme, other themes may have templates in different locations).

I ran into two problems:

1) I can't find my vBulletin license, where does it show it?
2) I cannot log on into my account on the pligg side. My "God" account does not exist anymore. Therefore i Have to reinstall my pligg installation. Its all though as I have not started anything on pligg. Whenever I do login it does not say "User / Password" error. So thats some kind of progress, the only difference is that I'm not able to log in completely.

Anyone can help me?

1.) vBulletin licence - look at the top of any vBulletin php file (root folder).
2.) Are you dealing with a fresh pligg install? (ie. no content). If so, just empty the pligg user table and run the import from vB. Then go back into your pligg user table, find your username (i presume it will be userid 1) and change the user status from normal to god.

First off, Simon, thank you so much for your hard work on this very helpful bridge!

That said, I have installed and have the bridge almost fully functional. When a user registers through vbulletin, they are still not able to be logged in through pligg. I have tested several times, and what I am seeing is the row is created in the pligg database, for the new user. And everything seems to be imported correctly, except for the user_id_vb. For a newly registered user, it shows NULL.

i'm blind.

found it in the vbulletin admincp.

to complete the product a cron job, which imports the new users should run on a daily basis.

I believe you only have to import users once. New users are imported automatically, when they register through vbulletin.

I am still experiencing issues, however. Rows are created for new users, in my Pligg database but for some reason it is not importing the user_id_vb. All new users are showing "NULL" in this column, even after thy verified their email and can post in vbulletin. Everything else seems to work just groovy though. Any ideas?

I updated the Pligg templates to use the vB login process, and it works great! I have noticed however, that the "Logout" button on Pligg does not actually llog me out. Would this be a cookie issue local to my computer, or a bridge issue?

I am having the same problem with VB_id's showing as "NULL" also.

If i poplulate the pligg_user table from vbulletin the user_id_vb is filled in correctly. But when the user signs up in vbulletin it is not done automatically. This means i have to delete my pligg_users table and repopulate once per day as a solution.

Anyone figured this out yet?

Adaman

Odd, it seems that Pligg.com's demo Pligg install is automatically adding users from vBulletin.
