Sorry guys, I haven't been keeping up with this thread lately. I will have a quick look into any possible reasons for the vbulletin userid not getting added correctly.

Quick question - do those running into problems have their pligg tables in the same, or a separate database to vbulletin?

Try this updated version - it should add in the vbulletin userid properly for new registrations now. *crosses fingers*

Hey guys - Pligg is my central site - users start there and go to forums secondary - Because of this I wanted to see what would be involved in having a user create a profile in Pligg and having that user added to vbulletin. Any help is appreciated.

My vbulletin and pligg are in seperate databases. I tried your update (v1.12) and I am still having the same problem, with the user_id_vb not being added.

why don't you exchange the pligg registration with the vb registration?

Sorry about that, not quite sure what is going on with the userid. I wrote it with separate databases specifically in mind, since that is my setup. Ok, next question, are you setup for the pligg accounts to be created on registration, or on activation? You might want to try setting it to creation on activation, if you haven't already done so.

What's the exact version of vB are you using? If it isnt 3.6, then there is a possibility something has changed in the registration process that could be throwing it off.

UPDATE: try this final compatibility version (1.13)

I just upgraded to 1.13, and it appears to have broken

I altered the login.php file and I made the template change to ahve Pligg redirect to the vBulletin login code, so that renders the /libs/login.php redundant, doesn't it?

When I login I get the splash screen from vB thanking me for logging in but when it redirects back to Pligg, I am not logged in. The cookie is still there because I can go to other areas of my site and remain logged in.
