I'm a bit confused what happened here. Could you give us some more details? Also, did you update the language file through the admin language editor? Search for @ and pligg from there.

Yes, I updated the language file, however, all the new users get the activation email with the link to pligg site. Im using the latest version of pligg. This is very weird. Please help me.

In /admin/admin_config.php?page=Location Installed is the base url set to your own domain? That's pretty much the only thing I think could be causing this.

yes. it links to my website without trailing /.
Never mind, i tested it again and now new users don't receive any emails which totally makes me comfortable.
