Hi,

I am new to the script and it looks very promising. I have a few niggles with the setup but the one I am asking here is about URL Method.

I have submitted 14 stories as a test. My initial problem is when I press the link for page 2, it shows” page not found”. If I set the URL method to 1 then page 2 come up.

I have right clicked the link for page 2 and it shows
http://www.plectori.com/index/page/2/

The actual URL should not show the "index"

Any ideas as to why the index part of the URL should be showing, do I need to delete any file.

Thank you in advance.

Make sure that you read up on what needs to be done besides just setting urlmethod to 2. You will need to rename htacces.default to .htaccess and customize that file (including code provided in the admin > manage > categories page).

Hi.

I did rename the .htaccess file and uploaded the code from the categories file. The problem is not that.

Hi,

I have solved the problem by adding the following to the .htaccess file.

RewriteRule ^index/page/([^/]+)/?$ index.php?page=$1 [L]
